How to maximise master wardrobe space

Hi - we are in the very early stages of starting our renovation and have the first set of designs from our architect - very exciting! One thing (of many) that I'm wondering about straight away - is the wardrobe space for the master. We have come from a house where we were lucky enough to have lots of hanging space and the current design appears tight.

Has anyone used the pull-down devices for double level hanging? The ceilings will be high so that seems to be the easiest solution at this stage - though I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts! Please fire away!!

Edit: I can't seem to add the PDF of the design, so the measurements of the WIR are 1740 x 3425 with two doorways at the end of the length (from the bedroom into WIR and WIR into ensuite if that makes sense!). So I'm guessing the hanging length is probably about 2200ish and the short end is currently listed as drawers/shelves.
