First time questioner here.

We have to decide this week on the aluminium sliding stacker doors colour.

I am so stuck on white, shale grey/surf mist, silver, or a dark colour (matt black / monument / etc.)

The stacker doors are part of a bigger reno (white shaker style kitchen, pale timber flooring). We are going for stainless steel appliances in the kitchen.

We like the idea of a black door to give the space a bit of a modern touch - that said, worried it will look disconnected and contrast (in a bad way) against the windows. The windows (and current door) are the old brown aluminium look (80s). For the moment we will just be painting the windows and architraves white.

Thoughts on colours? Will the black look out of place? Or be a nice pop? The stacker door is in the meals area which leads onto the backyard. Kitchen is within the same space and there is a window about the sink (which will be white). If not black, suggestions on colours .. still deciding on which shade of white for the kitchen cabinets and walls but leaning towards a natural white. Not too stark...
