Help, why is my keiki not growing

I have a very unique orchid Mariae x Pulchra. I bought it from an ebay sales since 4 - 5 years ago. Now it has grown with 3 Keikis. Last year I decided to remove 1 keiki from the plant and potted it with the normal orchid soil. But after 6 months, it's fading. Please advise?
It's difficult to invert the keiki into the soil as they have only aerial roots and cant stay rooted in the pot although I had to tie a stick around them in order that they stay rooted.
The keiki started with 3 leaves, 1 has fallen and now the second one is soon going to fade.
This is Phalaenopsis MariaexPulchra, photo taken last summer September 2019.
