Planting murrayas

Hi
ive recently had the reserve behind me demolished for homes to be built so after a long process of choosing a hedging plant I went with murrayas, just a personal preference. I understand they are a slow grower? But was hoping For advise on planting diameter, if I want it to get to 3m height is .70 space between sufficient ? And .50 from fence line? Looking to keep it well trimmed and maintained and it’s really For privacy and a canvas background before I add design (another dilemma on what to plant, hoping Weeping cherry tree)
planting whole back fence and all right side.
hoping to make a little seated area with fire pit in the left corner where pool fence starts and in pool area on left fence have started jasmine.
before reserve was taken down
now (bad weather atm)
