Great colour choices! I agree to go with the grey rug, but you can use the yellow as a subtle highlight colour in the design. Here is a photo of our Clover rug in grey and cream , but you could easily make the cream a light yellow. Before replacing your curtains as this can be quite expensive for such a large window, if they are in good condition, add a band of extra fabric to the bottom in what ever suits you, your existing curtain track can then be moved up to the ceiling for good looking full length curtains without the large round eyelets, could save you a lot of money, I would look at replacing/removing the sheers cheers

Hi Rema, An open plan Living and Dining Room sounds beautiful! There is not one specific rule when deciding where to put your rug. However, as you do have such an open space, they are a great way of zoning those different spaces. If you just have the one rug, I would suggest keeping it in the Living Room as opposed to the Dining Table, but if it isn't working in terms of size, coverage, and layout, I would recommend using it for the Dining Table, if appropriate, and getting a rectangular-shaped rug for your Living Area. Here is an example of a property we styled where we utilised the rug in a way to section off this smaller Living area and create an illusion of a hallway, so the space would still feel open: Hope this helps! Today, I’ve had a good look at Early Settler (gorgeous store!), Temple & Webster, Miss Amara, Freedom, Fantastic Furniture (which has come a long way).... and even Magnolia.... and I’ve found some beautiful alternative rugs to this one .... but not this one. I might put on my big girl undies & give the heart a little thrill & see if I can find it in the US - & how much of a loan I might need to get it shipped lol.
