What sort of footings are required for an 'A' frame house?

I am looking at a low sloping bloke on the Yorke Peninsula; it is pocked with limestone rocks and maybe too rocky to put strip footings in at an economical cost. The house will be 7500 high at the apex, 9000 (frontage) x 12000 with a second storey in the apex and full utilisation of the ground floor; ie, the roof will form the internal walls, which are 60 degrees. The block is 25000 frontage facing south and 40000 deep. I want to keep the costs down as much as I can and I don't know as yet what framing I need as although I have done building costing/design on conventional homes during my time achieving my Cert IV Residential Drafting TAFE, I have not done this sort of design before.
