Does anyone happen to know, after removing floor tiles from a concrete slab floor, in an older style home, if it's possible to polish the concrete, rather than re-tile?
anything is possible and i've seen it done in old factory buildings now used for coffee shops etc and i love the rough appearance of the original old aggregate with the new smooth finish but you need an on site inspection and quote (and ask about corners and along close to the walls).. also research comparison cost for new tiles as it probably won't be cheaper just more interesting
Be aware that unless you have heating in your floor, concrete floors are COLD.

Be aware of possible ghosting, and you might see the tiles seams on the floor. Read more here https://duomit.com/your-floor/polished-concrete/
