Kitchen - Before & After

Photos from a home in Alphington Victoria for an empty nester couple who wanted to update their 20 year old kitchen and living space to a more modern and functional space.

The whole orientation of the kitchen was moved to help the flow in and around the kitchen and living rooms. This helped re-direct traffic through the side door rather than through the living space to access the backyard. It also created a more user-friendly kitchen with all items easily accessed. Two pull-out pantries provided additional storage, a new corner appliance cupboard with a bi-fold door for easy access and carefully thought out space creation for the corner so that it is fully utilised.

Navurban in Hamilton combined with 2pac in Dulux Natural White was used for the joinery with Ceasarstone Organic White for the stone benchtop. Organic feature lighting from Mark Douglass makes a statement as do the beautiful handles from Savage Design.

All in all a very happy couple who can now enjoy their new space for at least the next 20 years.
