Hello Kat It is always difficult to get a true vision of colours on a computer monitor because each one will have different settings. Working as you are from actual samples is always the best approach. To respond to your question about your sample selections, I think these all work well together; the Polytec’s Cinder with Silestone’s Chrome Quartz. You should also find that when these are together the reflected light from each will also blend and complement each other further. I also like and encourage your choice to have contrasting white cabinetry for your Island where this will balance your kitchen and add to its Contemporary Style. The laminate range is lovely. I think the white varnished oak would look stunning, it is neutral and will tone down the yellow oak colour in the cabinets whilst the slightly darker timber shade within the floor will work well with the black bench. This colour flooring will modernise the space. The other colour I was toying with was natural varnished oak however this has a yellow / honey undertone and I think it would enhance the yellow in the cabinets therefore steer away from a yellow base.
