Comments (9)Hi I would check that your deck can take extra weight like tiles and additional cement sheet products as well. It looks to me like a light timber frame structure but it does have steel beams holding the cantilevered weight. I would get a designer or draughtsperson to look at it and give you some ideas. If you use a hardwood it will grey off naturally but you will have no maintenance. If you stain the timber the maintenance is every 2yrs really......See MoreIdeas please on what colour to paint deck.
Comments (6)I'm not a huge fan of that yellowy beige , but I can understand why you'd keep it . I can also understand getting rid of the other tones . Personally though , I'd get rid of the red in preference to painting the decking -- I am a fan of wood that you can see is wood haha . Plus I think it looks great , whereas the red not so much . So I'd want to know the new white and blue tones and maybe work in with them -- lets face it , red white and blue is probably best left for another country haha . So maybe change the red for a different but complimentary blue , or go charcoal or similar ....See Moreideas for an island bench on the deck
Comments (5)Depends what look and budget you are after. Have you looked at stainless steel movable benches. This would be the best product for outdoor areas. Caesar stone looks good but overkill for outside areas that will get weather all year round. It’s the constant dirt and dust that will accumulate not necessarily rain or sun damage. And with the island bench what would the storage underneath be made of? If MDF, this will be prone to weather damage. A stainless steel bench with wheels is a good investment....See MoreCat Ver
