Natural light & indoor/outdoor flow, laundry needed

Help! Our house is on a sloped gradient and built with awkward angles to the lot(Pic 1), steep roof. There are a few redundant areas including the narrow(63.5cm) ‘corridor’ that is adjacent to the open living/dining area. The wall seen(Pic 3) is a weight bearing wall. The window overlooking the pool backyard is next to the French doors seen from the outside but due to the corridor blocking a lot of natural light, it doesn’t have the expansive welcoming flow. The landing is too small to fit outdoor dining table/chairs. We don’t have an internal laundry, the media room parallel to living/dining is dark and damp as it’s facing large rock face, south-facing. Powder room is under stairs is tiny and the back room behind the garage is redundant as we have to step down from foyer of front entrance into garage short corridor then step up again before reaching the room that is also often damp as it’s also adjacent to large rockface. The front entrance opens directly into the foyer and stairs.

I would like some ideas and cost estimation as to changes in configuration which will allow a better usable layout flow and somehow incorporate internal laundry with powder room below stairs, tiled floor change, removal of the weight bearing wall, outdoor covered deck. Love any ideas, pics, colour scheme.
