the problem with this design is that the main room becomes a thoroughfare regardless of doors opening directly off the living area or into the small hallways leaving very little space for comfortable furniture arrangements and it doesn't appear that bed 3 is big enough for a double bed but we need dimensions of all the rooms and the downstairs floorplan to make useful suggestions

Bed 3 is 4m x 3m, bed 1 is 4m x 4.5m. Underneath is kitchen/dining

i still don't understand your plans...do the measurements include the wardrobe spaces, we need measurements of the rooms excluding all built ins) does upstairs include a master bedroom, two smaller bedrooms, a walk in storage room, one bathroom and the upstairs living area?? we need the size of all the rooms including the decks to know how they can be used ...no point rearranging one side if that spoils how the other rooms can be used ..and is the house on three levels and/or why is there extra stairs from the laundry and is this a renovation or a new building?

So lounge is in the top floor? Are you a 1 child family with an occasional guest?? Or will you need 2 kids rooms. If 2 kids then swap b3 and bath. But it is not ideal to have your main lounge being thoroughfare to bathroom

Just trying to work out stairs. Is the kitchen a half level below entry and study and the top floor a half level above entry?

Measurements include the wardrobe. I think I need to repost including all of the details for your suggestions. We have a small building area and a lake on the bed 1/main bath side. No children, regular guests over summer

Bed 1 is the main. So water views on top level from bed 1, main bath and lounge balcony.
Lower level high traffic is the kitchen/dining and alfresco, the small bathroom/ laundry is for rinsing off after lake without having to go upstairs

I am confused with the lounge and how you would set it up. Will you have a tv. I would look at putting fireplace between the French doors with tv over so lounges can be in a u shape to view.
Is this a permanent home or a holiday home? I’m just concerned about the bath across living from master.
