What’s on the front and back. Can you post a pic. What colour are you thinking for trim

Painting the windows monument will make the house very dark. I would keep them light. Hammer grey is not a feature colour. But I’m not sure why you would want to draw attention there anyway. It should be on the front of the house. I’d go off white window trim and a bright front door. Everything should draw your eye to the front,

So would you suggest monument for the boards instead kate?

Personally I wouldn’t be using monument at all as I don’t like dark houses. But colours are personal, which is why it is so hard. They are also different in different light conditions and what colours are around them influence how or eyes take them in,.
At moment you seem to have a blue tint to your paintwork. For a change I would be tending to a green tint which complements the red toned bricks.
For the house above I would change the mounument to woodland grey. But then that is what I have on my house so I’m biased in that way.

Hammer grey is a plain medium grey. So it will be fine. It is neither a feature colour nor too dark.

I love dark houses, very stylish looks wonderful against a lush landscape.

I'm with Kate -- you already have a dark base , so go lighter to lift it .

I'd go a mid steel blue ( almost silvery blue ) on the weatherboards , and even lighter like a surfmist on the gutters and eves and the carport and the facing boards around the entrance . The windows I'd personally go stark white . The front door could be changed for a nice natural cedar wooden one , or go bright red if painting -- basically , stick with the dark monument , the reddy brown of the brick , 1 bright highlight ( logically , you want everyone important to notice and find the front door ) , and go lighter on all the trim items .
