Here's a video of an area of water damaged bamboo being removed and replaced Joyzzz. Maybe you'll consider replacing the area in front of your fridge. Like you I also have bamboo in the kitchen (and pot plants throughout the house), but haven't had any issues with spills marking the floor. It's a shame there's so much variation in the manufacturing process resulting in some floors tolerating spills and others not at all. I do have a damaged board though thanks to a guest leaving a tap running causing an overflow...that I wasn't told about until days later, grrr. Fortunately the damage is in a shadowed corner and the sealer is still intact, so it isn't noticeable, just a wrinkled surface to the touch. Which is lucky, because our home is earth-covered and there is nowhere for water to drain out of the sub-floor as we "tanked" it with a sealer to ensure no moisture can make its way in. That board sat there in a puddle for days! I still wonder why only one board suffered damage, very strange...

Hi ucheokeke1 colour matching to the tile should be relatively simple as already explained. However even if you find the right paint colour, unless you ask for optically clear glass (known as Starphire glass in Australia) your colour will be skewed by the natural green skew of ordinary glass. If you can source a coloured glass splashback that's close to your chosen colour from a standard range you will be OK with normal glass. If there is nothing similar in a standard range, the only way to ensure true colour representation is to pay the extra for optically clear glass. I hope this makes sense.

Hi If the tiles are in good condition it seems a waste to remove them. Pressure clean the tiles then repoint the grout to match the concrete/tiles under the roof. That will give visual cohesion. Remove the existing terra cotta pots. Use large pots coloured to match the posts of the veranda - blue/grey?? As you said - lots of greenery. Maybe a vertical garden near the lounges. Near the lounge area, under the veranda place a huge, aged terra cotta urn with lots of patina. Let us see what you come up with Enjoy

Hi Damster Damster. Anything that insulates against thermal transfer will also insulate against noise disturbances. A good double glazed window with an insulated frame and a high performance seal should reduce noise coming across the window by 60% or more. A uPVC frame will give you the best performance and will last the longest. But, it can be tricky to tell which uPVC supplier is the best to go with.
