Colour for bedroom vinyl planks? help
Love the darker one. More contrast with whatever else you add
If you are going to keep the pinkish carpet, definitely go for the lighter one. The darker one looks wrong next to it.
I'am wondering why you are covering what looks like a timber floor, could this be redone to the lighter colour.?
I would have thought the pink carpet was going. If it is staying then definitely the lighter timber, if it’s going then the darker one.
Neither. You have black aluminium and white walls. I don't know what colour window coverings you are putting in but if it were me, I'd go for a WOW factor look over safe and predictable. Choose a black or charcoal plank.
Look at the grey of the bedroom floor It has far more WOW going for it than the planks do and it's not very dark.
Do a colour board and include the window coverings and some of the other colours you are intending to dress the rooms in. Picking a few floor boards without having an overall idea of what else is going to happen is opening yourself up for disappointment.
definitely the lighter one - remember whatever you choose will look much much darker when it's all laid out over a larger area. I have very light planks in my how as was shocked at how dark they looked when laid even in rooms with lots of light. personally I wouldn't choose a charcoal vinyl plank - they can sometimes end up looking really fake.
The lighter one - also you have a light coloured dog and dog hair (also human hair, fluff etc) is much less noticable on a lighter colour floor. I had medium walnut floors and they drove me insane, you could see every bit of dust and hair even when they had just been cleaned (I have a pug who sheds all year round!) Now I have light oak floors and they always look clean, even when the sun shines directly on them.
The darker colour is nice, it’s more warm and cozy making the house feel more like a home.
