We are looking at installing wood look tiles 120mm x 20mm but I am concerned if they will crack under my floor. Currently we have a wooden floor with a crawl space under the house. We originally got a tiler to quote the job before covid for 600 x 600 mm tiles and he said we would need to lay down a subfloor first (plywood or something?).
Has anyone had any experience with wood look tiles and have any knowledge if adding the extra wood to the floor will help prevent the tiles from cracking?
On a side note we have look at other flooring options but are set on these tiles.
