Render colour advice please

Hi my mother in law is the original owner of this 1970’s home. It’s time for its first render, as the existing mortar is eroding. She has recently replaced the ‘pull down awnings’ the mission brown stripy ones, and her rood tile is brown (and faded by the sun).
We are not sure what colour the render should be, guttering etc to tie everything in. Do you have any suggestions?

I would suggest a white with Shale grey trims and guttering .

A warm colour at the darker shade of the whites range, not yellow or blue based, to tone in with roof

The Bricks are OK, if you like them, keep that round feature deck in the brick and render the rest, or stone clad the feature and render the rest, or cheapest of all just paint the rest in a dark warm neutral and render the round feature in a lighter but similar tone. You have the windows to consider. If you changed the colour of them you could also change the overall colour scheme from warm to cool. Although a black and white scheme is current, it looks better on timber houses and in suburban and inner city areas in my opinion. There are lots of different elements to your house which would look more integrated if you chose a warm colour scheme with a maximum of 3 colours. You can even make the bricks work if you paint upstairs a warmer colour to match them and changed the tiles and front steps to wood. Wood integrates everything in a warm colour scheme.

The roof is too heavy for any more dark below I see what you mean re powdered rock not being perfect colour but it does ground the house with that big dark roof. Once plants in and maybe cedar or white planter pots on front porch or trellis with creeper all will look great. So I wouldn't change it

It's an open book really. Since you are changing the gutterings and the windows are plain aluminium you can choose any colour your please. It'd personally go with a classic neutral tone, not white, which can look very dated very quickly and shows up every bit of dirt splashed on the side of the house and blown in on dust.

Before you render have a look at Three Birds Renovating. They have made a signature out of painted brick.

The first thing I would do is to take away any sprinklers that are near the home. You have bore water stains all over the brick, which probably contributed to the mortar damage.

if the water from the bore is not diverted, then it doesn't matter what colour render you have, because it will soon be orange.

i would go for a soft Cream color Render, and Black Accents, such as gutter and Pipes etc

Does render actually 'fix' deteriorating mortar , or does it just hide things and delay things ? I don't know enough , but my worry would be having the render crack and bricks moving and not really achieving much .
