The colour scheme for the kitchen is white cupboards on the bottom, black on the island bench and oak for the overheads with stone bench tops (similar to the picture but with a stone bench top matching the splash back).
Due to cost, and not using stone in the butler's kitchen - I am planning to keep the white cupboards below (there are no overheads) and use an oak looking laminate bench top. Will this work? I have not seen many photos of nice looking oak bench top with white cupboards.
Any recommendations on what to do in the butler's kitchen when we can't use the same bench top?
