If you stay with central opening will need cavity as swing doors will impede seating plan. Otherwise a single hinged door at souther end would be the best for sound control.
What do you think? I'm leaning towards cavity sliders to make room feel more open. got option to have open or closed. We are not massive surround sound movie watchers. to be honest it would be more of a second area for my son to play ps4 or me to watch netflix every now and then.
If you install a door at hallway into bedroom wing, and have doors closed in bedrooms, then no, there would be no sound transfer. Remember your walls are brick. Definitely sliding doors, otherwise you take up space in the cinema room.
