I have a whole wall that I need to block off with some sort of door. I'm thinking that a bi-fold door would be awesome. However, my husband kind of wants a sliding door. I just think how cool it'd be to have a whole wall made up of a door that could easily be tucked away when needed. This would make outdoor barbecues a lot easier. Not that I have seen - what we could do is a plantation shutter and then use a Crimsafe build-out to attach the security screen - you need to have it so that the shutter can open and it not protrude in to the screen - the challenge I see is that there will be a fairly large gap between each door to allow them to pass each other You might be better to look at using a commercial door section a slimline fixed louvre and then having your screen at the rear - this would allow a much better fit and also slide - but it would not be an opening type shutter Sorry best ideas I have for now - if you need anything else or me to do a rough sketch so you can approach someone in your area let me know Regards Heather

Framed corrugated iron shutters left natural would be my preference, colour might be a bit 'try hard' and natural will sit in the environment more easily. Could even make barn doors with it if you prefer that look. The actual barn door fittings are the pricey bits I believe. Our cyclone was made of corrugated iron (by pro shelter builders) and it never ever budged (loud though) so a bit of coastal? wind won't worry it. You don't have much wind going by photo's, all trees seem to be growing upright so a regular build will be fine.
