Kitchen splashback - help needed please!
Comments (24)Netty, firstly thank you for posting your question because we are stuck on splashback ideas also and the only difference between our kitchens is that you have opted for gloss on your cupboards and we have gone satin. We are currently waiting on our shi*take bench tops to be installed.... hopefully within the next week. After much googling, hubby has decided that he likes the glass bullet style in a neutral tone (much like the tile you have gone with but in glass obviously) and I am liking the bullet style tile also, just not sure whether glass or a mix of stone, glass etc would work. At least I know we are on the right track now, so thanks again! Can't wait to see a photo when your done (hint hint ;-) )...See MoreHelp ideas for Splashback in new kitchen, please.

They look amazing and everyone comments on them. They make tiles out of lots of different metals and in larger (and smaller) sizes....See MoreUndecided on a splashback

Comments (14)Nope - with all of those different whites they will react and one of them will look creamy or dirty. Suggest you go with a soft grey to pick out the grey in the benchtop. Matching whites and getting it right is really hard to do successfully when the whites are different materials from different manufacturers. Start looking at some of the greys in Johnson's Spectrum range in the 197 x 97 size, get samples and see how they work with your benchtop and cabinetwork in your kitchen. There are lots of other grey subway tile options available depending on where you are.... Best of luck Dr Retro of Dr Retro House Calls...See Morejayvee1
