Exterior colour dilemma
Comments (7)I would personally go for a lighter roof colour such as Shale Grey. Surfmist is quite white and could be glarie in the sun. Ironstone would attract further heat and could need further insulation to avoid excessive heat buildup. Even being surrounded by trees the roof may cop the heat. Shale Grey roof and facia's with the Ironstone gutters looks quite good together. Downpipes in Ironstone as well. Some people don't like to 'highlight' the downpipes but they are a feature of the house as well, in particular if they're round pipes with the half round gutters. I'd do the eaves in Shale as well.
