Anyone know where to source exposed taps

hey I am looking for something similar to this but where I’m looking I’m finding really expensive options. Is this just some basic plumbing bits popped together or do you truly need to spend lots to get this look? For bathroom and kitchen

a friendly plumber could make these for you but labour costs could probably be no less than a ready made option although check with a plumbing supplier eg REECE or a traditional hardware store to see what they can offer.. these sort of taps would probably be supplied as parts for repairing old plumbing

I love this look,it's exactly what I want for my kitchen update... my husband installed quarter turn taps onto the outdoor taps and I love them, they look great and I want to install them in the kitchen. I think the whole point of this type of look is its straight forward and simple. So it's a lot of copper piping and basic tapware. You may find it easier to buy ready made, but firstly go and look in the plumbing section of your hardware and just see what bits and bobs are there.

Howards Storage have some but like most I think the mirrors are small. I also found a really nice one on Marks & Spencer and they have free delivery in September. I think it is because if the tap handle doesn’t overhang the sink then wet hands drip water over the bench behind the sink. I have an undermount sink with same issue due to required setback from sink and we are learning to shake hands before turning off tap. Pro for wall mount no gunk around base of tap Negative according to my husband who refused to have wall mounted is the tap connections are in wall so if you get any leaks it’s hard to fix. But this goes same for shower I guess. We did have a faulty basin tap that leaked inside the handle area and down into cabinet so had to get replaced so I didn’t-push for wall mounted again.

We have basin mounted taps in one bathroom and wall mounted in another. The taps we bought are from the same range and using them I find to have little difference. However personally if I was building again I would have the basin mounted for a single reason... if the tap needs replacing in time, then there is no need to rip a hole in the wall to do it. Either type of tap requires you to check your basin and mirror heights so there's no interference particularly if you have shaving cabinets like we did. Another thought to consider from the male perspective... our men prefer a swivel spout as mentioned from other houzzers for easy cleanup when shaving and perhaps a little extra hand room for larger hands. Flick-mixers are the bees-knees of taps, everywhere! Other than to match a period decor, I don't understand, why anyone would want conventional taps anymore. Here's why: There is only *ONE* piece of tapware to clean per basin; they are quick and convenient to use, especially if you have frail hands, soapy hands, small hands, anything; you can set them to a certain position and then 'off' and 'on' them without having to re-locate your preferred temperature again; the flicker handle is positioned over the actual sink/basin, so wet hands drip into said basin and not on your counter-top. they come in plenty of stylish designs.
