This Federation style house was looking very dark and dated when I For Style was first engaged by our lovely clients. They love the Federation style but the interior lacked elegance and wow factor.

So, we set to work creating a highly personalized interior that was all about attention to detail.

The existing, three-way main bathroom sorely needed a thorough overhaul so it was completely gutted. The separate areas for the vanity, toilet, bath and shower made it an ideal space for family and guests alike, however it was pokey and cluttered, making it difficult to navigate.

As each new transformation was revealed, and seeing the delight on the client’s faces, we knew we had hit the mark ‘creating interiors that lift the spirit and enrich life’

Before Photo:

The festoon curtains, dated floor and wall tiles, impractical inbuilt shub and heavily framed shower screen, made the bathroom look much smaller than it was.

After Photo:

The transformation is complete! The new free-standing back to wall bath, neutral coloured floor and wall tiles, white shutters and frameless, walk in shower really open up this space. The Italian imported feature wall tile with its Baroque, etched pattern and reflective surface has a shimmer affect that is tactile and uber elegant.

The dark, stained timber of the existing vanity together with the purely functional vanity top and dark framed mirror did nothing to enhance the space, making it feel more enclosed that it actually was.

After Photos:

The custom vanity was carefully thought through for ease of use, as one of our clients has limited mobility. Easy to handle tapware, large basins and a number of other elements have made it so more user friendly.
