Hi. That looks like a well thought out and comprehensive design. While I don't mind the driveway colour as is, I think the grey will really stand out and look amazing, as well as tie all the exterior elements of your property together. I too like the edging as long as it's low enough that your mower won't hit the bricks. Looks like this project will greatly expand your useable outdoor space and, most importantly, increase enjoyment for you and your family. Best wishes!

I too say option 2. We are in the same dilemma. I actually like Option 1 but our builder suggested that Option 2 is more sturdy and also allows for the soil in the garden beds which otherwise would look and be somewhat messy in Option 1. Good luck with your decision....

Thanks to everyone who has responded. I especially like the suggestion for vertical rather that horizontal but I'm still stumped as to which colour looks best!

PLEASE do not laugh at my sketch skills... it is the first time using it and am just trying to picture colours together :) so here is a pic of my house. On the left i have added the white fence and on the right it is the surfmist. I thought to go white slats on top of surfmist and a full white slat gate on the left because the white will match the pure white wall and aluminium and the surfmist part of the fence will match the garage door, that way it all ties in. What do you think?
