I am seeking advice on colourings for my living room/kitchen/dining room area.

The questions I have are:

- Should I try and match the flooring colour and the dining room table colour? Or should I try and contrast them?

- Still tossing up between playing it safe with a white kitchen or going navy for the kitchen cupboards!?

- Go darker with the flooring or lighter?
