Comments (5)Have you already sourced your tiles? I would expect most tile stores could help you find the edging tiles which I think are typically termed 'pencil' tiles for the style you have shown. We used bevelled subway tiles in our DIY ensuite. In hindsight we would have aimed to finish the brick pattern with 1/3 and 2/3 sized tiles (like in your pic 1) rather than full and 1/2 (pic2 and 3) to give a more even edge thickness/profile... Might not suit and we didn't use capping tile (I lost that arguement!) so it is probably more obvious in our bathroom, but just something you might like to consider....See Moreneed help to find matching plaster cornice
Comments (5)specialist plaster suppliers can make copies of your cornice and luckily in Melbourne there are several companies from a quick Google "for custom made plaster cornice.. ...faced with a similar dilemma we stole some matching cornice from another room to patch the gap in the living area and replaced the cornice in the smaller room with a different profile......the plasterers were quite happy to do the work but it's fiddly and time consuming so no option would be cheap but ä matching cornice will provide the best result...but start by phoning around every plaster supplier and restoration company to ask about custom made cornice but keep in mind that you will need to be able to transport the cornice so make sure you also enquire about delivery...See Morewhere to find this pendant light
