Bathroom wall tile size for small bathroom: 100x300mm or 300x600m?
Comments (4)also will give illusion of a bigger bathroom if you use bigger tiles ..I used small ones on one wall as feature wall and larger ones on other walls .....See MoreSmall bathroom - tile dilemma
Comments (8)To what extent do you plan to tile the walls? Floor to ceiling or just the wet areas (shower/bath section and vanity splash back?). I would personally find full walls in that tile over-powering eg. https://www.houzz.com.au/photos/regents-park-contemporary-bathroom-london-phvw-vp~31719695 I prefer a more restrained use like this where the floor tile is used on one wall to give the illusion of more depth with other walls simple and white https://www.houzz.com.au/photos/wet-room-shower-bathroom-hampshire-phvw-vp~23525132 (Not a professional of any kind but...) Looking at your layout, I would be inclined to go with the feature tile on the floor, the bath hob (sides and surround) and on the long wall running parallel with the bath. The other walls I would tile and/or paint white....See MoreBathroom tiles - run floor tiles up one or all walls in shower?
Comments (8)It can either look really dramatic or too dark, depending on the size of the room as well as your other components. I've attached a couple of images of our work using dark tiles, the smaller bathroom we have surrounded the bath with dark tiles but then balance it with an extra large mirror to bounce the light around the room. The larger bathroom we have taken the floor colour way onto the wall but used a different texture on the walls for drama. Hopefully this gives you more of an idea but you shouldn't to nervous of the room being dark, it's where you can create a contrast as well as textures. Look forward to seeing what you go with in the end....See MoreBathroom tiles for a small bathroom
Comments (2)How big are the floor tiles? It may look unbalanced with a more delicate tile in the floor and the 600x300 on the wall. Are you able to continue the flooring tile up at least one wall for cohesiveness....See MoreDee K
