I do bathrooms every day of the week and I can tell you now that, If you really want a bath in that space and shower just do a shower over bath I noticed your shower was 800mm wide this is to small for a shower 900mm minimum. Forget the bifold doors put in a cavity slider or if this is not possible do a face of wall sliding door on the out side of the bathroom. If you really really want separate bath & shower move the toilet into the laundry. Get an 1800mm deep soaker bath and run it along the 2000mm wall run your shower along the 2100mm wall opposite the vanity. I take it your on a timber floor not a slab as moving a toilet on a slab can get costly.

having a broken ankle made me so much more aware of the restrictions on elderley, disabled and temporarily indisposed in most bathrooms so, when planning our new bathrooms we made sure that the doorways were wide enough for wheelchair access, the toilets are installed a little higher to make sitting and standing easier, entry to the shower and access around the toilet are "drive in" The toilets and shower have proper grab rails installed during construction, not as an afterthought, we have straight grab rails installed as towel rails, 30mm square and rectangular textured tiles as a non slip floor, a fold up seat in the shower, a proper chair to sit and dry your toes and help during dressing, controlled temperature hot water, adjustable spray shower heads and hand held adjustable spray (separate to the overhead shower not attached to slip down rails) the vanity and toilets are wall hung for easier cleaning and the space under the vanity is a handy place for a waste bin and slippers out of the way, all medicines are stored in a shallow wall hung medicine cabinet and there's good lighting, overhead heater with fan, underfloor tile heating and all taps are rounded to prevent accidental cuts and bruises on old flesh...the two things to regret are: we installed a walk in hydrotherapy bath that could have waited until really necessary because we have no traditional bath in the house for little kids and we couldn't find a soap dish without sharp edges so that gap is waiting for the new styles to be released...btw all the details about grab rails heights etc are readily available on Google but can't remember which specific sites we used

correct measurements are the only answer...for your new floorplan you need a room (without any restrictions that would measure at least 2400mm x 2000...it's always possible to squeeze in some minor variations but only if it's worth the cost in convenience, improved value of the property and actual cash outlay.... the front door entry foyer would be lost, the new bathroom doorway wastes more space, the linen cupboards would be too narrow for anything except a few towels and sheets (that can easily be stored in a suitable vanity or bedroom cupboard) the bathtub is gone and you would have spent about $20,000 for a bathroom that is not better than what's already there?? ...the computer programs that we use are called 3D Home Architect and my version 4 is no longer available to buy but i believe siriuskey may have purchased her version recently? these programs do make the plans much easier to see but you must start with accurate measurements and an understanding of spaces needed ...start with a space about 800 x 800 mm for a toilet, 900 x 900mm for a basic shower, 500 x 900 for a single handbasin 1500 x 500 for a double handbasin then add in at least 900 x 900 for a doorway (including space for the frame and space to walk through...same for cavity sliders!) and then you'll need space to walk around in front of the toilet and shower and handbasins ......unfortunately with the plumbing and space restrictions i don't believe it's possible to do more than widen the existing shower space by rearranging the entry wall.(NB you'll still need to spend $5000 to $10,000 for demolition, carpentry, new waterproofing, tiles, shower, vanities wall cabinet, taps, plumbing etc..forget the linen cabinet and store linen in a new vanity and toiletries in a wall hung mirror doored cabinet and keep some width in the entry foyer (minimu 1200 wide) ...removing some of the non structural wall in the kitchen should be the cheapest improvement for the kitchen and add space for a small breakfast bar but removing the end counter would lose valuable counter space that could also be used for a pantry ...before making any decision you need to think about the reason for the changes...are the bathroom, laundry and kitchen in need of immediate repair, is the unit for your own use of needing improvements for rental or resale...?? always happy to draw up your plans but have to nag again about the accurate measurements...try measuring each separate room (ie shower, toilet and vanity, laundry and storage from wall to opposite wall in several places in both directions, ignoring all the fittings but include separate measurement of the diameter of the hot water heater.

Hi thinkoutsidethebox, As a bathroom vanity retailer we can confirm that the trend is a preference for wall mounted vanities by far when compared to floor mounted vanities. Wall mounted vanities appear more modern, make the room feel more spacious, show off your tiles, and give the opportunity for open showers as water damage is reduced due to the cabinet being up off the floor. Due to the reduced storage, we also recommended face level storage such as a mirror cabinet which is more comfortable to use everyday with reduced bending to access drawers or cupboards below. You may also want to choose a vanity with the basins over the top of the bench top as recessed basins (basins that are under the bench top) will further compromise the storage of the cabinet. You may also have to consider the current plumbing outlet of your vanity in the space you are renovating as you may need to move plumbing inside the wall if the current outlet goes to the floor within (hidden inside) the cabinet. In some cases such as if your floor is a concrete slab, you may need an engineer to confirm if you can “chase” the slab be able to relocate the plumbing. All the additional work and cost to reconfigure the plumbing should also be considered when deciding to have a wall mounted or floor mounted vanity.
