We're looking to convert a garage into a Council approved bedroom for our Torrens Title duplex.
We've been quote $3,000 (excluding GST) for a person to draft up design plans for Council approval.
Is this a reasonable/market amount?
We want the outside appearance to change minimally (we want to keep the garage door) because there is a community scheme in place and all buildings must look alike from the outside.
Would also appreciate any advice as we've never done this before.
