Hi every one. I am doing a renovation to a Georgian home and I love encaustic tiles. I am not at all interested in "encaustic look" as porcelain made to look like other things is not my taste. Ever store I have gone to, the sales assistant told me I would regret it as they stain so easily and are so difficult to maintain. Would be interested to hear about other peoples' experience with encaustic tiles. I wonder if it is like timber floors - they scratch over time, but this kind of adds to their character?
