You can get any colour paint you like in any strength - 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 or full - its only a colour, so they will mix it to your request. Have you made yourselves a colour board? if not, you will need to get all your selection colours together and then go to bunnings or a paint shop and get some sample pots of the colours you are debating. (yes it will cost to get sample pots, but seriously you need to do it - and get the varying strengths in the same colour as well). If you are worried about the render colour marking, go the 1/2 strength on the render and 1/4 on the mouldings. Your Wow factor will come with your varying textures - brickwork/render and trims/timber doors, and the wrought iron. I'm guessing you have exterior lighting? some beautiful exterior lights will be the icing on the cake.

@Lynne: thank you for your thoughts and comments. This house was built with some feng shui in mind, thus these roof lines - and roof orientation. We are aware that those columns are in the way. At a first glance, the one in front of that two panel door is not load bearing, this could be removed (seriously-who on earth places a pillar in front of a sliding door?!?!?!). The other one on must remain while both on the balcony are required; although we're planning on redesigning the balcony, thus can remove/ change the location on those columns/pillars can be reinforced and then moved. We're using a 3D software (sketch up or Revit) to play with potential designs to get a feel for the look (as we don't want to waste the time of a drafts person) before commissioning someone. Although I believe we will require a designer/ assistance of where items such as the BBQ could be build (kitchen faces the SE side of the house) to ensure a good flow inside out of the house... Gyprocking is done. Picked the bathroom tiles and laundry tiles. They will go in this week. Need to pick the external tiles outside the main door. I am not sure if I should go with the same as the driveway exposed agg ( which I haven't picked yet).or to pick different tiles. According to the architects design, it's tiles. One side of the garage wall comes along this walk way and the garage will be painted Dulux-monument colour. So I'm not sure, if I should match the monument colour- tiles? Or go lighter colour tile matching my internal floors? Or go with exposed agg in this walkway as well? Too many decisions :p :D

unless there's a good or bad view you wish to highlight or obscure the tall building casts a much longer shadow which can be quite unpleasant in cold weather my suggestion would be to drop the floor with steps in the games room (with an observation "window" from the kitchen) while keeping the same roof shape for the games room and alfresco (the very high ceiling in the games room could make a loft for the kids) and then lower the roof for the bathroom and bedrooms OR if overshadowing is not a problem, change the hall windows to horizontal highlights to preserve privacy and maybe add a deck off bed 4 for an emergency exit
