I have a double right now (one large, one small) and I use the small one to drip dry anything that doesn't go in the dishwasher. It's convenient, but even so I'm planning to switch to a single large sink in the future. I haven't found any double sinks that I really like, but I will admit I haven't seen a great solution to drip drying pots and pans. I really do use that second sink a lot (even if I towel dry my pots, which I don't usually bother to do, I still have to have a place to put them until I've finished the dishes). Most dishracks I've seen are intended for plates and utensils, which I just put in the dishwasher. If I can find a good dishrack for pots and pans, then I will be very happy with a large single basin sink I think.

Faye, If you were lucky enough to have your proposed wall hung toilet on an outward facing wall, then future access could be achieved from outside but since that's probably highly unlikely, then I'd agree with haephestus that you can get some lovely flush wall toilets. Case in point, I'm having a spa bath and it is on an outside wall so I'm having access to the pump by way of a neatly made door in the external brickwork, save ever having to pull up tiles or similar in the future, or the very least making an unatractive access door in the bathroom. If something can go wrong, then it will go wrong unfortunately, murphy's law!!! Good luck with your project. Cheers, Barbara

I have found that the white ceramic stains easily and stainless steel will make them popping sound rather than cracking under really high heat . I prefer the stainless steel and I have found this as really great option , colour sink with a stainless steel base AXIX sink . This is the website for Corian but you can clad these sinks with stone or any other product through your Joinery team
