We have been in our newly built home for just under a year now, and I still am yet to find a pendant that I fall in love with for our kitchen.

There is currently only one provision, however if we end up finding a pendant that has a single connection and we need multiple of it, we are happy to add provisions.

We were looking for something which has a lot of width to it so it looks in proportion to our island. I have seen a lot of long black iron style pendants which I think are lovely but feel too heavy for this space.

The island itself is a dark blue in light, which appears black at night. Our home has a combination of hamptons and Australian bushland influences. There will eventually be a dining table in front of the island in a very similar wood colour to the flooring.

I was hoping for something that has some amount of character to it without being overbearing in the space - whatever that means.
