paint the end door a striking colour, horizontal stripes on the ceiling, and 3 large pendant lights. not sure how adventurous you are, but you could consider painting different colour "zones"- 3 different colurs as you walk down the passage.....possibly even 3 short carpet runners. i love the idea of wainscoting-but you will lose precious centimetres. You can get paintable wallpaper wainscotting.

Hello Allison, I wouldn't rush into anything the room looks harmonious as is. As you have just moved in - live with it for a while and see how you feel . As a feature rather than above the bed [ which is a lovely shape - and nay art is going to look a bit odd] you could inject some colour with a throw / folded rug at the end of the bed. Something with an aged texture like washed velvet would look good. Old gold / mustard would look nice with your cushions if you like them - if not find new cushions you love and work your colours from there. You could also have similar cushion on the window seat. I agree a mirror is good in a room but it is important not to clutter bedrooms. Alternately you could go for a soft wall colour on all walls. Panels could work but are quite a lot of effort - I would try to textile first.- they can always be returned if not suitable. All the best.

Hi cher323 I new that once I put it there I think even with the size bench you have would still look small so I'm opting for a console table which is 180cm long and 79 cm high then I will also look at maybe a bigger mirror or artwork to go above console. it was mentioned that as I have a round mirror already in my entrance having another round mirror would be too similar so will just wait until console arrives to decide. If I replace mirror with artwork in entrance, then maybe bigger mirror over console could look good.
