chookchook2 - we have linoleum in our kitchen. 10 years on, still looks great, easy to clean, forgiving underfoot and dropped items don't always break :) Love it so much, we will be using it throughout our new beach house (except bathrooms). Chantelle, what a fab table! I can't tell though if the top is timber, stone, concrete (or the look of) or metal. If you like industrial style then Oskuee's top three images are perfect! The fourth photo is a crossback chair which can suit industrial, Hamptons and modern country. However if you like a modern classic look, then a fully upholstered chair like the style of the one in this link would work. Either colour match the legs to the table or paint them matt black. A straight leg, rather than a taper ( as shown in the link) might be better too. Fabric-wise because the table has clean lines, a self pattern or plain would be best. Your house looks lovely, to fix your path, remove what is there at the moment, put down a layer of crushed rock, tamper it down until level, relay your pavers on top of this , you can gently tap with rubber mallet if any are a little uneven, spread your rocks back between pavers and to edge and it should be sturdy and fine, if you get the preparation (crushed rock and levelling) perfect to start with your path will do you well for many years

We've got a gatic style pit lid on our exposed aggregate driveway. You can fill these pit lids with a material like exposed aggregate/concrete and sand etc. to make the pits blend a bit better with the driveway. A couple of driveway people have said that using exposed agg there just doesn't work well due to the inability to get exposed agg even and looking good on the pit lid. Other people have said it looks bad if you don't fill it with exposed agg because that would be different to the driveway. Just wondering if anyone has done this in the past and what they went with? We would've thought exposed agg for the continuity of things but now we aren't sure. Thanks in advance!
