The old kitchen was dated , the moulding was nice but probably not what you'd have in a kitchen , BUT . . . . . . .

That shade of green is weird IMO ; the tiles are exactly zero imagination ; I wouldn't have a black dishwasher ; I definitely wouldn't have some black appliances , and some stainless ; I wouldn't hide a microwave in an awkward spot ; the cupboards have no covering to the ceiling ; having flat green cupboards and grooved off white doesn't work .

The floor is a big improvement though .

I like the green actually! It’s very calming yet fresh.

Oh I love this look! The colours are so on trend and sophisticated - takes experience to get it right like this.

And I also have my toaster in a nook like this, it‘s so functional and makes for a much cleaner look!

I like the green the kitchen looks good…..before & after photos always have the fridge door clutter shot I wonder if all that clutter was removed the kitchens wouldn’t need a make over!

Lovely transformation, my only feedback would be the upper cabinets in what looks like beige, I wonder if a timber look would have complemented/popped the green more and tied in with the floor. But when your working with a client it's always going to come back to what they really like, after all it's their home and they are the one paying the bills! :)

Thanks for your feedback Leigh, the upper cabinets are actually a lovely soft grey, my client really wanted the panelled cabinets and we introduced the wood tone in the open shelves to tie in with the floors.

You are absolutely right, clients are the ones that have to be happy. I take a lot of pride in meeting my clients brief and making them happy. My client is over the moon, so that makes me happy too 😊

Hi Maursie, good point about the fridge, I also give pre sale property styling advice, and it’s usually something I have tell home owners to do in nearly every consult I do! But in this case the kitchen was screaming for an update, the green is great, looks so fresh. Thanks for your feedback.

Like the way all the line are vertical the black appliances look clean and easy to look after. The grey, green, wood are all in the same family. As for the negative comments it’s not their taste maybe they are not Aussie -NZ (i mean that in a nice way) really think this is a smart clean design.

Lovely tile choice and the green looks fresh. I have an awkward nook at the end of the bench great place for the toaster and microwave.

Eh ? The underbench cupboards look to be a different colour to the pantry , which is different to the overhead cupboards ( and a totally different style and era ) , then the tiles are a lighter shade again -- I'm certainly glad I'm not a pro , because I seriously doubt I'd get paid if that was the colour 'blend' I suggested and installed .

The grey paint manufacturers are rapt -- they'd have to file for bankruptcy if I was a pro . . . . . . . .
