Shorten the new wardrobe L a little and have a wall of storage along the exterior wall. There seems to be a lot of wasted space.

Install a barn door across WIR entrance if concerned about sight lines into bathroom.

Thanks so much! I think seeing into bathroom was our issue, also not keen on opening the barn door each time but I do think it could be a good compromise.

On all the original plan, dreamer’s and Oklouise’s you could decrease the space on the interior of the L and add a bank of storage backing onto the L and opening into the bedroom.

what a great idea bigreader...subject to available space the internal wall could include a biw and/or a dressing table or desk with drawers. a mirror and chair?
