I need help trying to work out a new layout of my bathroom. Its a small room, just 1.64m x 2.37m. Solid brick house so solid brick walls (also wooden sub floor, not concrete). I really want to get rid of the shower-over-bath, not have a bath and just have a walk-in shower. But it means moving plumbing around which I realise is really expensive. The shower-over-bath is just 69cm wide from the edge of the door-jam to the wall, so not enough room to put the shower there (door jam is an extra 8cm). So I think we need to flip the toilet & vanity with the shower.
Any bright suggestions? Would moving the door to where the toilet is, and moving the toilet to where the door is, be cheaper than moving all the plumbing around (solid brick walls)? Then the shower can stay where is it, remove the bath and have an 80cm or 90cm wide walk-in shower, toilet in the middle, 90cm vanity could stay where it is?
Many thanks for any suggestions.
