Why not a round flat top large ottoman, to soften the overall look. The brown modular lounge is quite heavy and rather angular (still nice though!). You could select a soft pattern fabric, perhaps like this: Then some large feather filled scatter cushions for the sofa in the same pattern + some complementary prints. conduit can sometimes be recessed into a brick wall and rendered over if you need an extra powerpoint or hidden inside wall cabinets for a built in rangehood but the other prob with range hoods is that they make so much noise and i'm not aware of any that completely removes cooking smells but i agree, unless there's some regulation that demands a rangehood, it's probably easier to clean the wall. The colour of the tiles is such a personal choice but for your kitchen i prefer the same white subway tiles for the splashback and the column as i think that the dark tiles would feel closed in up the side wall but, perhaps the subways could be laid vertically (200mm x 100mm subway?) around the benchtop and horizontally for the column with one vertically tile up the sides of the column and a tile trim around all the raw tile edges...then you have to decide if you like the horizontal tiles laid in a brick or stacked pattern or a quick look at "subway tiled splashback" on HOUZZ revealed these photos...good luck with it!

Hi there! I know how you feel so this is what I would do.... Choose the bed that doesn't fight with the white shutters eg unfortu ately the leather..beautiful, my choice but the criss cross padded buttoning will have the horizontal stark white shutters above .I would want that stunning leather bed be the hero piece. Personally if possible I would change shutters to black same as wall if they have to be there. Sorry I'm not answering your question however although it's not my favourite, the plainest wooden style would probably be the easiest (but not the most stylish) choice. Good luck and all the best!

Kitchen cabinets colour too dark,can you have more window? If you have large window then your kitchen floor and cabinet colour are good,but if you can’t have larger window/ whatever is the case/, then I would have lighter grey,whitish floor or timber floor like “ash white”, the bench are dark,all is dark according the photo. I don’t know where do you live but Houzz gives us much photos of much kitchen,maybe you will find your kitchen without having financial need or changing the lay- out Good luck
