What style bedding are you drawn too? What is the wall colour? Inspiration: Black and white (or off-white) with deeper green accent pillow. Though this room is not carpeted , I thought this room would give example of how the colours and wood tone work together.

I have primrose window frames and getting a security screen on front door but don’t want primrose for border. The screen will look black. I have done the door in the cozy corner grey which you won’t see for the black screen in front of it. I have white shutters on The window beside the door. I’m not sure whether to do the frames in white or a lightish grey similar to the door.

Dulux whisper white. Get a sample pot, paint a large piece of cardboard and see for yourself.

The flooring is such a big component of a space you really need to consider it as part of the whole look you’re aiming for. I would say that generally for practically the carpet would be darker than the walls.
