The stone is from YDL Stone called Kalala Shan. I wanted caesarstone calacatta nuvo but that would have broken the bank! This one still has that marble look I wanted but it's actually a warm base more off white, goes well with wood and the trouble I am having is which grey to put it with in the bathrooms! I was thinking light grey with off white...where did you get your tile from?

Beautiful view Jane, gosh you're on the side of a mountain no? Yes if left natural the cedar will weather to grey but to me that looks weathered & dry & possibly not in keeping with your house style. I still like the red door & think the cedar weatherboards look to be in good condition. I would start by painting the gutter & fascia in the graphite, then the pergola as well & lose the cinder if that is the light colour. Funny thing, I live in a pole home too but without your amazing views!

You could speak with them regarding the suitability of their products for external sun in Queensland. They are made for Australian conditions, are advertised as environmentally friendly. They can colour match with Australian paint companies. Though for exact colours the paint companies always recommend using their own brand. You could also go to Dulux Australia's website and chat to a colour consultant online, re suggested choices for a white for external walls in Queensland sun, with terracotta roof to go with the colours you've mentioned. They are very helpful I've found. We have Snowy Mountains half trims and doors externally, which we chose as it wasn't too bright in the northern sun. You can also buy A4 sized colour swatches from Dulux to put up against your wall outside and see how the light reflects and what tones are coming off it. Place your other swatches of colours against it to see how they suit. Do you see any other houses in the neighbourhood that are similar colours to what you are hoping for? Do you have any Snowy Mountains Quarter left that you could paint on a board to see what it looks like outside with the other colours that you like?

Yep , a modern charcoal ( a very dark grey ) with a modern door was one option Kate ( with the red and white canopies ) , the other was the existing door in crisp white with red diamonds . Darren thinks a charcoal garage door is bold , so I didn't want to suggest a bright orange garage door and front door and gutters too !
