Hi can someone help us decide between these two layouts for our master suite.? we want ti maximise the wardrobe space and get natural night for mirrors. thank you
800mm is a little skimpy but the only tall object in the ens is the shower and with a window next to the toilet and over the bath the space should feel quite bright and open although a bit of a squeeze when two need to use the space together but the vanity, bath and shower are probably bigger than needed and you could could use smaller fixtures (the huge vanity is 2400 x 500, built in bath is 1700 x 750 and shower is 1500 x 900) ...but what size and style of bath, vanity and shower do you prefer and do you have a specific size of storage that you need?....(eg a standard shower with a sliding glass door could use less width than a swinging door but there's not enough space for a walk in shower) the wiw walkway is ok as long as there is the window at the end but, if the goal is to create the maximum wall storage i haven't found a better alternative but is this a new build or renovation, ground floor or upstairs? a view of the adjoining rooms might help suggest other ideas ...can you post the rest of the plans and give more detail of what size and shape of storage and fixtures you need (ceiling height shelves, tall or double hanging, low drawers, seating??)
The purple is the wardrobe space
I like the 2nd
Would this Chesterfield sofa suit our home?

I should say the natural light in the first will be blocked by person standing in front of mirror. It is also less spacious
I like the 2nd. The shower entry is too tight in the first.
your variation with dimensions has about 11m of wall storage plus the small desk but i've left out the corners and allowed for a window in the WIW
Thank you all for your quick and helpful responses, first time on this forum and it has been a good experience
@oklouise you are amazing - thank you! Do you think 800mm is enough for a walkway? in the WIR and the bathroom?
Thanks @oklouise. Yeah I think we would have a 1500 bath and a 1200 shower with an 1800/2000 vanity. Also, that wall on the south is (next to the toilet seat) is actually going to go from 4.1m to 4.9m. This is for a new build and this is master retreat is upstairs and occupies the back section of upstairs. Yeah the idea is to have a smaller ensuite (but still spacious) and maximise storage. The second pic in my original post has decent storage but i worry about the number of corners...do you think the original works better?
As for the depth of the cupboards we could do with 500/600m. I think sliding or narrow cupboard doors.. It's a double storey house with 2.7m ceilings up and down stairs....
