Comments (8)Colour is such a personal thing. You need to decide how bold you want to go - whether you want a calm pallet or a "Wow" factor from your walls. Remembering that bold or deep colours can close in a room while lighter tones can expand it and that the directional light can have a huge impact on a room. To pick the best colour head down to the hardware and get swatches of what you like (get lots of colours and lots them - up to 10-12 bigger swatches for each colour - and tape them together) to get an idea of what you want and tape them to your walls so you can see them in all different lights - when you've got an idea of what you like and what works buy the sample pots and paint super large pieces of white cardboard - this will help you pick the right colour at the smallest "selection cost". The other thing to keep at the back of your mind is that neutrals aren't just in the cream/beige/white spectrum - think about colours in nature and that there area warm tones of what's thought of as cool colours. Comments (14)Laminex and Dulux got together and have colour matched their white palettes. For example Dulux snowy mountains quarter matches the Laminex. White Linen. The lexicon Dulux paint goes with polar white Laminex. Go onto the Laminex web site and check out the colours. Comments (9)You could have one side of galley kitchen cabinets in a richer shade of white (I'll have to start looking at the choices) and the opposite side in a grey. Will you have overheads too? Comments (8)I don't want it to throw yellow. Do you think yours does? I was also actually going to go full strength. Here is a sample of full strength. the keys are hanging on a kitchen cabinet door I am trying to match. have tried Snowy Mountain Half ( throws violet) lexicon half (Too blue) taubmans crisp white( too white) thinking if everything same colour (ceilings too) there will be nothing to show up the creamyness if that makes sense....See MoreCarmel M

last yearHi, I went with Polytec classic white matt, I am very happy with my choice, I just use windex with paper towel to clean it but any Matt finish is going to be harder to keep streak free to a gloss finish. Pictures attached without glass splashback
