I keep 3 sets of (Winter) flannelette sheets and 3 sets of (Summer) cotton sheets- we only have one bed. We have enough towels to "sink a battle ship" (that's a direct quote from my Mum). One can never have too many towels; towels for the dogs, towels for the kitchen, hand towels, bath/body towels..... ;-))

Wow! That's quite interesting! I have never heard of organic bed linen! Sounds healthy to me and I like to be healthy! Might look into that! Thank you!!

Traditionally if they were painted (not stained timber) they would have been painted to match the trim colour in a semi-gloss or gloss paint. They would never have been painted the same as the wall paint as the wall finish (probably a low-sheen) is not suited to the wear that doors get, and is harder to clean than a semi-gloss.

Hi Wish, I agree with the above about doing white as a staple. If you feel like a change up you could also explore some textured bedding and play around with some softer tones of pinks, purples and blues to play off the dark wall. I also love greys and blacks as well. I dont know what your setup looks like exactly but if you can afford to buy multiple sets of linens go for it!
