I agree with bigreader, go ironstone for all your trims for an instant modern update, don’t add too many colours as this will date the look, your white pots then will look fabulous , plant up your garden with architectural and lush foliage plants to compliment the Ironstone, and a cover for those wheelie bins also

Currently the garage doors, wooden front door and window frames are cream.

Keep Eaves Smurfmist?

We are planting lots of succulents, agave, money tree plant, and Japanese Box hedge around the front perimeter of our home. Maybe give topiary a try for a few features.

All wooden fences to be painted Ironstone. Backyard will have have a succulent and rock feature garden. Trellis for passion fruit vine to screen neighbouring fence on the higher side. Star Jasmine as ground cover and lattice or horizontal trellis for it to also climb.

Window frames are currently cream. Was thinking painting them ironstone to match roof and gutters?

I have the same primrose aluminium window frame and want to change them. How do plan on doing it and are you going to do the inside as well? It appears it’s going to be a very intricate job.

I’ve read on many FB groups and watched a Bunnings tutorial of people doing it themselves by masking up and paint with either spray paint or brush. A LOT of prep work

I’ve watched the Bunnings video and I thought he butchered it haha.

We are getting crimsafe or similar installed and will eventually get white plantation shutters. Choosing colours is a whole nightmare for me 😳

We painted our metal window frames on on old house, used Dulux weather shield exterior paint , masked everything and used a brush, very easy and looked fabulous, also had pull down canvas blinds, cut off scalloped edge, painted them also , same paint but used a roller, 10 years ago and saw them recently and they still look great.
I think going with Dark trims on your house would look beautiful.
