It will not look too squishy. But you have 6 metres of hanging space already, and you will be adding another few metres. You must have soooo many clothes.

lol I actually don’t . I have a dresser in the WIR that takes quite a bit of room and the 2 small shelves will be for shoes so I don’t think it’s a lot . I may be a little traumatized cause atm my WIR is so so tiny

Why not make the proposed robe a dresser instead and have your drawers in your bedroom. We did this as a built in along a wall and with quality joinery it adds interest and looks good.

I thought of that C P but when I’m getting ready my hubby still asleep as we start work at different times so it’s good for us to have it in the WIR thank u tho

You seem to have ample space in your dressing room particularly if you do not have a lot of clothes . If you add in the BIW in the bedroom you will lose that luxurious spacious master suite feel . If you eventually find the space inadequate then you could add a robe down the track . Don’t forget that in the dressing room your shelving storage allows you to store right up to the ceiling , even over your dresser area if you lose the window .

I’m adding up your existing hanging space, which could have double hanging rails. 3340mm plus 2650mm = 5990mm which is almost 6 metres of wardrobe space plus your dresser and your shoe storage. This should be sufficient space for most people. As said by anonymousanne, the storage is available right to the ceiling.

If it’s storage it could be drawers. Shoes and jumpers and scarves hats etc. can all be stored in drawers. We really don’t use a lot of our clothes. You can always get things out the night before
