Here is the house at the moment, I bought it maybe 6 months ago and straight away painted the roof black and had the gutters and fascias black as well which I regret but it’s too late now.

I painted the green out and it looks horrible as is so I stopped all work until I have a better plan.

Firstly remove the finials altogether. Although the roof and gutters look good the outcome is the gable and garage doors are now too light. Are you prepared to paint/change the windows? If so the garage door, gable, front door and windows would all work with a mid to dark grey. Id be looking at picking out a tone from the specks in the brick. The darker colour will provide a good transition colour between the brick and the roof and give you a more modern facade.

Yes I always planned to paint the window frames and garage doors that’s for sure and also the driveway just very unsure if I should be using 1 colour or 2 or 3 ???

Also the eaves ?

Three colour absolute max for your style house, and bricks count as a colour. Eaves can stay white or very light. Yes in the range of Colorbond Basat darkness but you’re not restricted to colorbond colours. There are thousands to choose from and you’ll be able to find something that works with your brick. Your driveway looks like real pavers and it will be a downgrade to paint them so be absolutely sure you can’t live with them as is. I’d do the other paint works and add a bit more lushness to your landscaping before tackling the driveway.

Ooh I love the black. Agree remove the timber trims. Leave it simple. I would put money in a nicer front door and remove the overgrown big bush and landscape that area

And extend path to street even in just stepping stones

I think the black looks really good. Agree with all above, remove finials. Paint over the cream. A modern front door. Either a cedar timber stain or dark charcoal. Landscaping and a grey driveway. Perfect.

Driveway could be the same or slightly darker. The triangle the same as the garage doors.

Yeah I have a bit of an idea of the colours needed now,just not sure what goes where 🤨
