Comments (0)The brief was to transform their existing outdoor space, enclose an existing section of deck to provide for a new living area, expand on the rest of the existing deck, provide a low maintenance level play area and fit a new pool to create a more functional and family-friendly space they could grow around. The extension to the existing residence had to blend in to the existing building as best as possible. Working with restricted space and a client wanting to maximize every possible area, we set about working through all of the various features the client wanted. Firstly understanding all of the requirements and confirming the client's wants, there were a few non-negotiable items that had to be included within the pool such as a bench seat, integrated spa, garden area, and enough room to still enjoy.
