Go to Bunnings or other retail hardware shop. Buy a sandpaper block. Medium grade. New handles for the doors and drawers. You don’t want wallpaper for inside of cupboard, you want self adhesive film. We did call this “contact paper” many years ago. This can be purchased at Bunnings as well. Remove the handles from your cupboard and drawers. Sand back the doors and drawer fronts and frames. Wipe over the entire surface so there is no residue dust. Take off the existing contact paper from shelving. Replace with your new adhesive film. Repaint the cupboard doors and drawers and the entire frame.
You also may need to buy a flat head screwdriver or Phillips head screwdriver to remove the door knobs.

Yes aS above, don’t forget to paint the doors and trim in gloss Aquaenamel, with a prep coat first after the sanding prep to ensure good adhesion. Painting the inside of the cupboard walls with prep coat and then wall paint will help improve look and then contact on the shelves.
